Onesimo O. Garza Sr. 64, of Andrews passed away on April 18, 2012 in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2pm on April 23, 2012 at Brownfield Funeral Home with Chris Seaton and John Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Onesimo was born on February 16, 1948 in Mathis, TX to Crescencio Sr. and Lucinda Garza. He served in the Vietnam War in the 1st Cavalry Division. Onesimo married the love of his life Victoria Flores on October 18, 1968. They were married for 43 years. He was a mechanic for over twenty years and a man of many talents. Carpentry was his hobby. Onesimo loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren very much.

Onesimo is survived by his wife, Victoria Garza; 2 sons, , Onesimo Garza Jr. and wife Susan from Brownfield and Joshua Garza and wife Kandice from Lubbock; 5 grandchildren, Sean Garza and wife Heather of Andrews, Onesimo Daniel Garza III of Brownfield, Michael Garza of Andrews, Matthew and Katelyn Garza both of Brownfield; 3 great grandchildren, Izaiah ,Eathan and Eli Garza, a brother, Crescenci Garza Jr. of Andrews, a sister, Angela Carbajal of Andrews, many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Onesimo is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and a brother.
