Aletha Clendora Cook

October 3, 1915 — July 11, 2017

Funeral services for Aletha Cook, 101, of Brownfield will be held at 2 pm, Friday, July 14, 2017, at Abundant Harvest Community Church with Rev. Jerald Baldwin officiating and Rev. Chris Seaton assisting. Burial will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Aletha Cook, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, Great-Great-Great Grandmother, Aunt, and friend, went to be with her Lord Jesus on July 11, 2017.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Hershel Cook of O’Donnell; her daughter, Twilla Cook of Brownfield; six grandchildren, Rickey Cook of Wolfforth, Hershel Lee Cook Jr. of Lubbock, Candy Williams of Beaumont, Tammey Mack of Brownfield, Shannon Allison of Lake O’ the Pines, and Gaylene Allen of Brownfield; 12 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her parents Charles and Mattie Black, and her beloved husband of 50 years Charlie Cook.
