Services for Anita D. Gonzales, 78, of Plains will be at Plains Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Burial will be in Plains Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held from 6-8:30pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Anita passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Lubbock. She was born on April 17, 1935 to Francisco and Onofra Dominguez. Anita married Bruno Gonzales on June 22, 1954 in Karnes City. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2013. She was a member of Plains Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Anita is also preceded in death by a son, Bruno Gonzales Jr; 5 brothers, Daniel Dominguez, Guadalupe Dominguez, Robert Dominguez, Sam Dominguez, Raymond Dominguez, Jose Dominguez and a sister, Audelia Dominguez.
Anita is survived by 4 daughters, Diana Flores and husband Cody of Plains, Gloria Covarrubias and Michael of Plains, Irma Wilhelm of Plains and Debbie Longoria and husband Larry of Plains; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Frank Dominguez, Jr.; 4 sisters, Maria Mejia, Susie Gonzalez, Ester Martinez and Oralia Rosa.
