Annie Ruth Camp, 83, of Brownfield passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at her home in Brownfield. She was born on September 3, 1929 in Terry County to Walter Byron and Mamie (Day) Paschal. She graduated from Brownfield High School in 1947. She received a degree in Elementary Education and Minored in Music at Texas Tech University. She was also a member of the Band at Texas Tech. Annie married Floyd Camp on May 27, 1950 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death in 2004. Annie taught school in Wolfforth, Monahans, Roswell, Eagle Pass, Mentone, Spur and Union. She retired from Union ISD in 1993. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Annie is survived by a daughter, Sunnie Planthold of Kansas; a son, Chester Camp and wife Sandy of Brownfield; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Edna Lois “Sis” Springer and Bernice Paschal; 3 brothers, Byron, Vernon and Cecil Paschal; a grandson, Zane L. Banister.
