Graveside services for Eva Bernice Kisor, 88, of Brownfield will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2007 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Charles Smith officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Bernice passed away Wed., Oct. 31, 2007 in Brownfield. She was born Nov. 16, 1918 in Davis, OK. to J. N. and Martha Jane Jeffreys. She graduated from Post High School. She married Max Edward Kisor on July 31, 1937 in Clovis, NM. Max preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1992. She and her husband farmed in Hale County until moving to Meadow in 1943 where they opened Kisor Electric TV Sales & Service in Meadow. They returned to farming in the Wellman area from 1976 until retiring in 1989. They then moved to Brownfield in 1991. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Bernice is also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a son Dwayne in 1982. Pallbearers will be, Alan Berryhill, Terry Chrestman, Bryan Chrestman, Craig Kisor, Rocky Phoels, Caleb Yeager and Joe Burns.
Bernice is survived by a son, Jeff Kisor and his wife Priscilla of Amarillo; a daughter, Ann Bevers of Brownfield; 4 grandchildren, Nikki Chrestman of Brownfield, Pam Berryhill of Brownfield, Craig Kisor of Austin and Patti Phoels of San Angelo; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
