Services for Betty Joyce Bramlet, 64, of Brownfield will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Betty passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at her home in Brownfield. She was born August 13, 1943 in Slaton, Texas to Elmer E. and Helen Faye Bramlet. She moved with her parents to Meadow in 1944. She graduated from Meadow High School in 1962 and worked as a lab and x-ray technician. She worked at Brownfield Reginal Medical Center and other area hospitals until illness forced her retirement. Betty was a member of Brownfield Calvary Baptist Church. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Judi Jo Palmer and her husband Ryan of Randlett,OK; 2 brothers, John and Elmer Bramlet; 3 sisters, Mary Belt, Doris Robbins and Wanda Lejeune; 2 grandchildren, Jeron and Marissa.
Betty will be in state Monday and the family will receive friends from 5-6pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
