Services for Betty Mason Fulford, 71, of Weatherford and formerly of Meadow will be at 10:00am, Friday, March 12, 2010 at Meadow First Baptist Church with Rev. Ken McClung officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
Betty passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Weatherford. She was born March 24, 1938 in Brownfield to Glen and Jackie Mason. She grew up in Meadow and graduated from Meadow High School. Betty was a bookkeeper for Meadow Co-op & Gin and Frenship Gin for many years. She was a member of Meadow First Baptist Church. Betty moved to Weatherford in 1999. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Weldon Mason.
As Parkinsons took away the quality of her life, her strong will and determination, kept her in the fight for twenty-seven years.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Sharon Allen and husband Gregg of Weatherford and Tonya Sparks and husband Gary of Graham; grandchildren, Brandon, Rusty, Trevor and Chelsey, Travis, Tate, Cason and Kelsey; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Wendel Mason and wife Vada Beth of Lubbock.
The family suggests memorials to the Nat'l. Parkinson's Assoc. or American Cancer Society.
