Billie Harwood, 78, formerly of Brownfield and a retired Photo Printer, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Ira. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Billie was born April 23, 1932 in Levelland, Texas to Alvin and Leatrice Wooten. She graduated from Levelland High School. She was a member VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening,quilting,scrapbooking and spoiling all grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Don Harwood; daughters, Quita Smith and Becky Waldrop; sons, Alvin Chadwick and Robert Stevens; brother, Buster Wooten; sister, Bennie Baldwin; several nieces and nephews; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Wooten and Leatrice Wooden; brother, Guerry Wooten; daughter, Belinda Briggs; granddaughter, Cindy Paulson; great grandson, Gage Humphreys.
