Bithel Dan Danny Parks

Memorial services for Bithel Dan "Danny" Parks will be held at 10am Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

Danny passed away June 20, 2016 at his home in Brownfield. He was born June 30, 1939 in Brownfield to Hubert Bithel and Ferne A. Parks. He graduated from Brownfield High School and then attended college in Houston. Danny was a Golden Glove Boxer through high school. Danny served in the United States Navy. He married Nora Suniega on December 12, 1990 in Manila, Philippines. He was a member of the VFW. Danny loved his animals and horses. He is preceded in death by his brother, Barry Lee Parks.

Danny is survived by his wife Nora Parks; three children, Danette Bobo of Florida, Samuel Parks of Louisiana, Rene Parks Cameron of Dripping Springs; five grandchildren, Savannah, Kristin, Cassidy, Megan, Nicole; five great grandchildren; nephew Scott Shiver of Brownfield; and dear friends.
