CONRAD BRENTT WILKES. To all my family, friends, and crazy people that read obituaries. I passed away on July 31 @ 6:22 PM at the ripe old age of 50. It was a great day since I had both parents (Rex & Charlotte Wilkes of Brownfield), all my brothers (Mark & Mont), my sister (Rexann), my eldest son (Tyree), and many nieces and nephews and their spouses. The only one missing was my youngest son Rhett…..and I hate that I did not give him enough notice to get here….Please forgive me.
It was a great fight over the last two weeks. I had over 100 nurses and doctors looking over me, but they could not overcome the damage I had caused these many years. I want to thank all of you that were praying for me. I did not deserve them, but am thankful that all were thinking of me.
I will miss you mother – Thank you for always looking the other way and loving me regardless of my faults. Dad – You taught me everything I needed to succeed, but I chose a different path. You were and are a great dad. To my brothers….na na na na….I am first again! Rexann – Thank you for loving me with a passion beyond compare. You were always there for me. Tyree – You are an awesome young man that did more for your mother and brother than I ever could. Rhett – You have many years ahead of you. Learn from my mistakes as they were many. I love you both! Take care of your mother.
To the rest – Thank you for the great times and memories. I hope to see you on the other side.
