Memorial services for Charlotte Grabowski Rodman, 91, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating.
Charlotte passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at her home in Brownfield. She was born November 7, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to Wladyslaw J. and Anna Grabowski. She graduated Linblon High School in Chicago. She married Donal O. Rodman on August 19, 1949 in Wiesbaden, Germany. They moved to Chicago, then Austin, then Washington D.C., then Spain, then Little Rock, then Sacramento, then Rocklin, CA and to Brownfield in 1989. He preceded her in death in 1998. She is also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Brownfield.
She is survived by three daughters, Ginger Miller and husband Walt of Saratoga, WY, Kathie Nippert and husband David of Rocklin, CA and Connie Akin of Brownfield ; two sons, Peter Rodman and wife Jane of Sacramento, CA and Gene Rodman and wife Tracey of Roberts, MT; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to St. Anthony’s Building Fund, 1902 Levelland Hwy., Brownfield, TX. 79316.
