Services for Cherry Lee Elmore, 63, of Brownfield will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Brownfield Funeral Home with Wayne Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 5-7pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Cherry Elmore was born on March 9, 1951 to Billy and Mable Hales in Maricopa, Arizona. She attended Abundant Harvest. Cherry married Lenual Elmore on February 2, 1972 in Brownfield. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Mable Hales; a son, Scotty Elmore and 3 sisters, Rita June, Lena Marie and Judy Faye.
Cherry is survived by her husband Lenual Elmore of Brownfield; 2 sons, Chris Elmore and wife Betty Sue of Brownfield, Lenual Elmore Jr. and wife Misty of Brownfield; 3 daughters, Crystal Castro and husband Demetrio of Brownfield, Cheryl Elmore of Brownfield, Brianna Kay Elmore and Eloy of Brownfield; 14 grand children; 4 great grandchildren; a special sister Anita Powell of Brownfield; 8 brothers; a special brother-in-law, Sambo Elmore and a special niece, "freakin" Melissa Hope.
