Services for Claudell Jones, 70, of Lubbock will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008 at Challis Baptist Church with Bruce Smith officiating. Internment will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Claudell was born on May 22, 1938 in Mexia, Texas to Claude and Dorothy Ann Johnson. She married James Neil Jones on August 9, 1954 in Lovington, NM. They moved to Brownfield together in 1954. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1968. She was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church in Lubbock.
Claudell is survived by two daughters, Teresa Nelson of Lubbock and Claudia Denise Dorman of Lubbock; her son, Mark Neil Jones of Lubbock; 4 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren.
