Delton Caffey, 92, formerly of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010 in Georgetown. Services will be at 10:00am, Friday, May 21, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Delton was born on April 5, 1918 in Big Sandy, TX to Leo and Clysta Caffey. He was raised in Loop, TX. He married Myldred Pace on February 20, 1939 in Terry County. Together they moved to Carlsbad in 1940.
Delton is survived by his wife, Myldred Caffey of Georgetown; his son, David Caffey of Lake Wales, FL; 2 daughters, Janet Warren of Georgetown and Regina Hawkins of Aurora, CO; 2 sisters, Jonelle Knisley of Kaufman and Francis Hollar of Ft. Collins, CO; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
