Services for Domingo Garcia, 66, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Friday, January 3, 2014 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Plutarco Garcia officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Prayer services for Domingo will be at 7pm, Wednesday and Thursday at Primera Iglesia Bautista.
Domingo passed away at his home in Brownfield on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born on March 10, 1947 to Fidencio and Belinda (Cavazos) Garcia in Brownfield. He attended Brownfield Schools and received an Associate’s Degree at South Plains College in electronics. Domingo married Maria Garcia in Brownfield on September 25, 1968. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Severo Garcia.
Domingo is survived by his wife Maria of Brownfield; his children, Domingo Garcia Jr. and wife Rebecca of Brownfield, Rachel Garcia Gutierrez and husband Raymond of Lubbock, Michael Lee Garcia and wife Jennifer of Brownfield, Rebecka Garcia and fiancé Gilberto L. Garcia of Brownfield, Alice Garcia of Brownfield and Elizabeth Miranda, a granddaughter, whom he raised; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Matias Garcia of Brownfield; 2 sisters, Olivia Marceaux and husband Terry of Frisco and Griselda Torres of Brownfield.
