Graveside services for Dorothy Caswell of Meadow will be at 10:00 am, Monday, December 15, 2008 at Meadow Cemetery with Bob DuPont and Bob Reynolds officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 at Meadow Church of Christ under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Dorothy passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008 in Brownfield. She was born June 5, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas to Verna G. and Lucille Lee Decker. She attended Meadow Schools. Dorothy married Norman Caswell on November 5, 1946 in Brownfield. She was a member of the Meadow Art Association and Meadow Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by a son, Barry Norman Caswell on Oct. 13, 1981.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Norman of Meadow; 2 sons, Monty Dale Caswell and wife Anna Jean of Shallowater and Lanny Bryan Caswell of Meadow; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Darlene Mitchell of El Paso.
The family wishes to send special thanks to the staff at Brownfield Rehab and Care Center, Dr. Shane Hord, NursCare and Brownfield Reginal Medical Center.
The family suggests memorials to the New Mexico Children's Home.
