Services for Dorothy Nell Gore, 85, of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Monday, September 27, 2010 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Dorothy will be in state Sunday from 12pm-8pm.
Dorothy passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 in a Plainview Hospital. She was born November 13, 1924 in Ethel, Mississippi to Dillard and Stella McDonald Graham.
Dorothy married Alfred Harold Gore on April 26, 1946 in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1987. She was an office clerk at Energas for 35 years until retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW and Brownfield Church of Christ.
Dorothy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
