Doyle Pud Moss

Memorial Services for Doyle “Pud“ Moss, 85 of Brownfield will be held at 11am Monday, December 15, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4pm-5:30pm Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Doyle passed away on December 12, 2014 in Lubbock. He was born on April 19, 1929 to Elbe and Myrtle Moss in Dawson County. He graduated from Klondike High School. Doyle also attended Texas A&M and McMurry. Doyle married Janie Lynn Ryan in Wheelock. He managed cotton gins and farmed for 60 years.

Doyle is preceded in death by his wife, Janie Lynn Moss; parents, Elbert and Myrtle Moss; 4 brothers, Troy Moss, James Moss, Perry Moss and Kennith Moss.

He is survived by a son Bobby Moss and wife, Jackie of Brownfield; two daughters, Ann Marrow and husband, Delwin of Brownfield and Nancy Moss of Salado; a brother, Jack Moss and wife, Sandra of Lubbock; 6 grandchildren, Michael and Angie Moss of Gilmer, Justin and Jami Moss of Abilene, Amanda and Justin Stinson of Waxahachie, Donnie and Jeannie Marrow of Brownfield, Brady and Holly Marrow of Wolfforth, Ryan and Jennifer McElroy of McKinney; 7 great-grandchildren, Brackstin Moss, Brennen Moss, Brody Moss, Sawyer Moss, Asher Moss, Gavin Stinson, Havery Stinson, Dawson Marrow, Addison Marrow, Carlee Marrow, Clara McElroy, Sophie McElroy; a special friend, Shirely Harguess; and many nieces and nephews.
