Services for E. J. "Pete" Rogers, 84, of Brownfield will be at 2 pm, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Brownfield First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Addington officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Jo Pete passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in Lubbock. She was born August 26, 1923 in Brownfield to Tom and Ida May. She graduated from Brownfield High School. She then attended Texas Tech University graduating with a B.S. in Home Economics. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Jo Pete is survived by a son, Mike Rogers and his wife Cathy of Lubbock; a daughter, Rande Spector of San Antonio; a sister, Ethelda Oakley of Midland; six grandchildren, Julia Spector of San Antonio, Sam Spector of Korea, Eli Spector of San Antonio, Miriam Spector of San Antonio, Josh Rogers of Lubbock and Rachel Rogers of Lubbock.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7pm, Friday.
