Services for Eudora Massingill, 91, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Monday, June 30, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Eudora passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in Lubbock. She was born November 4, 1916 in Wood County, Texas to William Thomas and Ella Dora Smith. She married James Henry Massingill, April 6, 1935 in Carsbad, New Mexico. They moved to Terry County in 1942. He preceded her in death August 30, 1995. Eudora was a homemaker and seamstress, member of Eastern Star and the Meadow Quilting Club. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brownfield. She is also preceded in death by a son, Alton Ray Massingill. Pallbearers will be Gayle Bassett, Chase Bevers, Gerald Bevers, Rowdy Blankenship, Dave Brown and Charlie Warren.

Eudora is survived by two daughters, Aurila Blankenship of Lubbock and Doris Jean Abraham and her husband George of San Luis Obispo, CA; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Wynona Massingill of Fritch.
