Graveside services for Fannie Pearl Pitts, 86, of Brownfield will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 27, 2012 in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation Friday at the Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
Pearl passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Brownfield. She was born February 26, 1926 in Seminole to Jessie Lee and Fairy Fay (Ogle) McGuire. Pearl married Thomas Richard Pitts on June 26, 1943 in Abilene. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1990. She is also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Ray Pitts; a daughter, Sharon Pitts Fairchild; her parents; 3 sisters. She was a member of Brownfield Foursquare Church. Pearl worked at Oak Grove Cafeteria in Brownfield for 30 years.
Pearl is survived by a daughter, Margie Patterson and husband Clarence of Abilene; a son, Richard Pitts of Carlsbad, NM; a son-in-law, James Fairchild of Brownfield; 3 granddaughters, Tosha, Tanya and Rachele; 8 great grand children, Kelsey, Shayla, Miranda, Coleton, Andrew, John, Ashlee and Cole; a sister, Veda Anderson of McKinney; a brother, Romie McGuire of Pecan Gap.
There will be a family visitation Friday at the Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
