Frank Estrada

Services for Frank Estrada will be held at 10am Friday, November 18, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a Rosary held Wednesday and Thursday, November 16 and 17, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Frank was born November 3, 1948 in Hanford, California to Thomas Estrada and Maria Corona. He met the love of his life, Estela Mata, in Lazbuddie and then married her May 20, 1978 in Friona. Frank worked at Jack Hamilton Tire for more than 30 years. He was also a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Frank was a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful man. He was the best husband, father, and grandpa. Frank would do anything to provide for his family. He would sit and chat with everyone and thought of it as a chance to give and receive free counseling. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Estrada and Maria Ortega, step father Walter Ortega, and sister, Irma Zatarain.

Frank is survived by his wife Estela M. Estrada of Brownfield; 6 children, Crystal, Kico, Esmeralda, Jasmin, Eric, Omar Estrada all of Brownfield; 6 grandchildren, BenE, Yandel, Layla, Luke, Evan, Mia; and siblings, Lupe Salinas, Steve Estrada, Ignacio Estrada, Fred Ortega, Ismael Ortega, Nellie Lozoya, Luis Ortega and Jose Ortega.
