Funeral services for George Paul Ramirez will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
George passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, in Lubbock. He was born on February 3, 1965, in Lamesa. His parents were Juan and Clara Ramirez. He served in the United States Marine Corps. George married Irma Lira on May 1, 1986, in Brownfield. George loved his family and enjoyed woodworking.
He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Ramirez; brother, Virgil Lee Lawrence; aunt, Maria Munoz; and birth mother, Eloisa Ramirez.
George is survived by his wife Irma Ramirez; mother, Clara Ramirez; three sons, Samuel Ramirez, Juan Thomas Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez; five grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Lynn Walker, Loujuana Kidd; three brothers, Elvin Ray Lawrence, William Ramirez, and Juan V. Ramirez.
