Harold Wayne Linville

Harold Wayne Linville, 79, of Brownfield passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Lubbock. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Brownfield with Rev. Randy Land officiating. Internment will follow at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery.

Harold was born on March 7, 1928 in Brownfield to David and Dora Linville. He graduated from high school in Brownfield. Harold joined the Navy where he served in WWII. He married Freddy Clark on July 2, 1951 in Lovington, New Mexico. He was employed with the Texas Highway Department for 35 years, retiring in 1984. He was a Baptist. He was a member of the Masons, the Armadillo Flats Radio Club, and the Lubbock RV Club.

Harold is survived by his wife Freddy Linville of Brownfield; his daughter Penny Graham and her husband Lonnie of Brownfield; 3 sisters, Aubrey Price of Brownfield, Vondell Lindley of Brownfield, and Sharon Simmons of Brownfield; 3 grandchildren, Austin, Casey, and Cassie of Brownfield; and 4 great grandchildren, Mckenzi, Morgin, Joshua, and Jaylyn of Brownfield. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Collene Brown.
