Services for Helen Louise Perkins, 77, of Plains will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 14, 2008 at Plains First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Wright officiating. Burial will be in Plains Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Helen passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Brownfield. She was born September 22, 1930 in Dennison, TX to William Eli and Pina Mabel Goldston. She was raised in Brownfield. She married Roy R. Perkins, February 2, 1951 in Clovis, NM. They moved to Plains in 1960 where they farmed until retirement in 1987. Roy preceded her in death Nov. 27, 200l. Helen was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Brownfield.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Toni Jones and husband Gary of Plains and Brenda Conner and husband Ray of Loop, TX; six grandchildren, Amy Gunter and her husband Clint, Stacey Sutton, Calley Conner and his wife Meagan, Toby Conner, April Conner and Jayson Conner; three great grandchildren, Brice, Mallory and Erin Gunter; a sister, Loie Hart of Brownfield.
