Memorial services for Irene E. Hatala, 83, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Irene was born on October 7, 1924 to Archie "Bud" and Annie Chaney in Danville, Virginia. She moved with her family to Hazelpark, Michigan where she attended schools. She married Robert Hatala on June 10, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Bobbie Taylor of Brownfield and Annie Rone of California; 4 sons, Rick Hatala of California, Scott Hatala of California, Matt Hatala of California, and Robert Hatala of Brownfield; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and her brother Clyde Chaney of Florida.
