Memorial services for Janis “Jan” Drennon will be 10 am, Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Services will be under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Jan passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Brownfield. She was born May 8, 1947 to Clay and Johnnie Mathews in Littlefield. Jan married Don Drennon September 23, 1967 in Ralls. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Janna Drennon, and brother, Bud Mathews.
Jan is survived by her husband, Don Drennon, of Brownfield; daughters, Stephanie Drennon of Brownfield, Chandra Simpson and husband, Terry, of Brownfield, Gwen Bates of Roaring Springs; grandchildren, Derrek Simpson, Tanner Simpson Christopher Kibler, Grant Bates, Kirstin Bates and Dylan Bates; sisters, Shirley Barr of Petersburg, VA, and Ann Maxfield and husband, Judd of Amarillo.
