Services for Jesusa Castro, 77, of Brownfield will be at 2p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Rev. Plutarco Garcia officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Jesusa will be in state Friday, September 17, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home from 2p.m. until 8p.m.
Jesusa passed away Thursday, September 16. She was born in Big Foot, Texas January 1, 1933 to Estanislado Riojas and Manuela Munoz. She moved to Brownfield in the early fifties. She married Conrado Castro December 6, 1949 in Levelland. Jesusa was preceded in death by a son, Elizar Castro.
Jesusa is survived by her husband, Conrado of Brownfield; five children, Demetrio Castro and wife Lupe, Josie C. Quintanilla, Jo Ann Curiel and husband Sonny, Rachel Franco and husband David and David Castro and wife Vickie all of Brownfield. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
