Services for Jewel Mack (Joyce) Roberts, 87, of Lubbock and formerly of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Jewel Mack passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 in Lubbock. She was born in Hermleigh, Texas on June 6, 1923 to Hardin and Jewell M. Joyce. She moved with her parents to Brownfield where she graduated from Brownfield High School. Jewel Mack attended Texas Tech University and received a B.A. Degree in Architecture from the University of Nebraska. She lived in Midland 1957-1960, Dallas from 1960 to 1973 and most recently resided in Lubbock. She designed Colleges Hospitals, Schools and taught at Texas Tech University and Central Texas College in the Architectural Departments. She was a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Hardin Joyce, Jr.
