Johnny Lee Christesson

Services for Johnny Lee Christesson, 47, of Brownfield will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10am in Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a family visitation 6-8pm Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in the Brownfield Funeral Home.

Johnny was born in Brownfield to Joe and Ida Mae Christesson on March 22, 1967. He graduated from Brownfield High School. Johnny married Rachel Salas March 4, 1985 in Brownfield. He was a truck driver for 20 years and a softball coach for the girls. Johnny loved football, NASCAR, wrestling, and spending time with his grandchildren. Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mae Christesson.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Rachel Christesson of Brownfield; son, Joseph Christesson; two daughters, Amber Christesson and husband, Jackson Crawford, of Brownfield, Tiffany Christesson and husband, Bryant Martinez, of Brownfield; 8 grandchildren, Malorie Martinez, Damien Christesson, Marques Christesson, Nevaeh Martinez, Josiah Martinez, Joseph Christesson, Kobe Martinez, Eyden Crawford; father, Joe Christesson of Brownfield; brother, Michael Christesson; and various aunts, uncles and cousins.
