Juanita Jo Smith, 84, of Tucson, Arizona and formerly of Brownfield passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Loving Heart Assisted Living Home in Tucson. She was born March 16, 1926 in Morgan Mill, Texas.
Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, February 19th at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Smith, in 1996. She was a 6th grade English teacher for many years in the Brownfield schools.
She is survived by her son, Jerry S. Smith and his wife, Sherry, of Tucson, AZ.; her daughter, Sue Ann McCorkle of Amarillo, TX.; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
