He is survived by his wife Jessie Smith of Brownfield; 3 sons, Joe Smith and his wife Joann of Levelland, Audie Smith and his wife JJ of Mississippi and Freddie Smith and his wife Gina of Mississippi; 4 daughters, Velma Smith and Henry Sandridge of Brownfield, Connie McCommon and her husband Chris of Mississippi, Nancy Beaulieu of Brownfield and Audra Kettering and her husband C. J. of Brownfield; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Dan Smith of Benson, AZ.
