Services for Lin Wood Howell, 75, of Brownfield will be 10:30 am Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Lin Wood passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at his home in Brownfield. He was born October 13, 1931 in Jayton, TX. to Lee and Vera Howell. He moved with his parents to Brownfield in 1944. He was a high school graduate. Lin Wood was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea. He was a member of the VFW and the Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by a stepson, Stephen Fleming.
He is survived by his wife Pam Howell of Brownfield; three daughters, Linda Thompson of Amarillo, Lisa McLellan of Red River, NM. and Lydia Johnson of Denver, CO.; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
