Lois Ailee Brown

Lois Ailee Brown (née Jones) died on the morning of January 27, 2022, in Lubbock, TX at age 94. Born in Tahoka, TX on November 29, 1927, Lois lived in Brownfield with her husband, CO Brown. She held many roles as a farm wife and homemaker on the couple's cotton farm, and ran her own childcare business out of her home. Additionally, Lois took pride in her secretarial work with the US Department of Agriculture.
Lois is survived by her son, Charles (Patricia) Brown of Rock Island, IL. Lois has 5 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was lovingly cared for by her niece, Mary Sue Wilmeth of Brownfield, TX. Lois was preceded in death by daughter Glena Thomas of Albuquerque, NM.
Lois enjoyed playing Bingo, and especially liked winning! Whether she won or not, she was known to sneak a candy bar from the prize table to satisfy her sweet tooth.
The family will have a private remembrance.
