Lydia Rendon Loya

Services for Lydia Rendon Loya, 90, of Brownfield will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Diaz Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Lydia passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 in Lubbock. She was born July 25, 1918 in Harlingen, Texas to Nicolas and Cleotilole Montalvo Rendon. She married Manuel Loya, August 21, 1936 in Lyford, Texas. She and her husband moved to Brownfield in 1984. He preceded her in death in April 2001. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Lydia is survived by 5 daughters, Sue Jones and husband Johnny of Brownfield, Lydia Font and husband Dennis of Mansfield, Beatrice Hancock and husband David of Mansfield, Olivia Bell of Grand Prairie and Mary Rodriguez and husband Gilbert of Grand Prairie; a son, Manuel Loya of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; a sister, Yolanda Martinez of Snyder.
