Services for General Mae Williams, 81, of Brownfield will be 2pm, Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Eugene Reed officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday, February 9 at the funeral home.
Mae passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Brownfield.
She was born November 3, 1929 in Milford, Texas to General and Idella Gates. Mae married Luther Williams on November 19, 1949 in Brownfield. He preceded her in death April 22, 1990. She was a member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church.
Mae is survived by her nieces Kimberlee Scott, Mary Fisher and Gail Williams of Lubbock and a nephew Bobby Joe Williams and many, many more nieces and nephews.
