Graveside services for Maggie Mae Reese, 90, formerly of Meadow will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ken Horn officiating.
Maggie passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 in Portales. She was born March 7, 1917 in Broadway, Texas to Ira and Velma Maddox. She married Alvis Reese, April 3, 1935 in Floydada, TX. He preceded her in death April 10, 1979. They moved to the Needmore area in Terry County in 1948 to 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meadow. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter Vikki Carpenter.
Maggie is survived by 2 sons, Billy Reese of Dora, NM and Charles Reese of Brownfield; a daughter, Twila Tuttle of Lubbock; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a sister, Sallie Williams of Houston.
