Maria Dillard Rodriguez

Maria Dillard Rodriguez, 69, of Brownfield died on Sunday, June 22, 2008 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Greater Vision Church in Brownfield with Rev. Jimmy Vela officiating. Internment will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery.

Maria was born on July 20, 1938 to David and Juanita Dillard in Charlotte, TX. She moved to Brownfield in the 1950's where she attended schools.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Cynthia Rodriguez and her husband Freddy of Amarillo and Amalia Ramirez and her husband Willie of Brownfield; 4 sons, Earnesto Jimenez and his wife Joann of Fort Worth, Miguel Rodriguez of Brownfield, Ruben Rodriguezand his wife Sylvia of Lubbock, and Lupe Rodriguez and his wife Rosa of Lubbock; 29 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jacob Dillard of Brownfield, David Dillard of Brownfield, and Frank Dillard of Brownfield; and 3 sisters, Adilena Villareal of Amarillo, Mercella Aguilar of Amarillo, and Audona Garcia of Brownfield. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, John Jimenez and a grandson, Freddy Rodriguez in 1976.
