Services for Maria Guadalupe "Lupe" Villarreal, 69, of Brownfield will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2009 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Rudy Crasta officiating.

Lupe passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Brownfield. She was born on November 4, 1939 in Alice, Texas to Manuel and Enriqueta Perez. She moved as a child to Brownfield where she was a resident for 64 years. She married Librado "Lee" Villarreal in 1955 in Brownfield. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Lupe is survived by her husband, Lee Villarreal of Brownfield; 4 daughters, Elma Medina and her husband Ruben of Round Rock, Martha Gallegos and her husband Raul of Ponder, Irma Villarreal Del Valle and her husband Alfredo of Round Rock, and Marie Finke and her husband Casey of Denton; 2 sons, Ruben Villarreal and his wife Becky of Leander, and Rick Villarreal of McKinney; 12 grandchildren, Kymberly Reno, Scott and Danielle Villarreal, Marci Medina and Ruben Medina Jr., Victoria, Anthony and Andrew Gallegos, Joshua Pauda, Alex Villarreal and Natalia Del Valle; 2 step grandchildren, Asher and Avery Finke and 1 great grand daughter, Joleigh Reno; her brother Manuel Perez, Jr. and his wife Francis of Brownfield; 4 nephews and 4 nieces.

The family will have a rosary Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Brownfield Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
