Services for Mary Ella Pearl Pruitt, 99, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at 10am on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Union Hill Cemetery in Mineral Wells, TX with Earnest Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday July 27, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.

Pearl went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 26, 2012. She was born on February 25, 1913 to John and Cordia Mitchell in Palo Pinto County. She attended Union Hill Schools. Pearl married T.O. Pruitt on Jun 21, 1936 in Wolters, Oklahoma. They moved to Brownfield in 1957. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1964. Pearl was the past vice president of the Senior Fellowship Club and a member of the Church of Christ.

Pearl is survived by her 3 daughters, Eppie Bullard and her husband Charles of Meadow, Joy Crain of Brownfield and Sylvia White and husband Terry of Lansing, Kansas; a son, Tommy Pruitt and wife R.B. of Austin and many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.

Pearl is preceded in death by her husband, T.O. Pruitt; parents, John and Cordia Mitchell; 4 sons, Mitchell Pruitt, Jerry Pruitt, James Pruitt and Eldon Pruitt and a daughter, Janice Morgan.
