Mazie Falkinburg

Graveside services for Mazie Falkinburg, 91, of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Graham, Texas under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm, Friday, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Mazie passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Lubbock. She was born December 20, 1919 in Graham, Texas to William H. and Lula Mae Wadley. Mazie married Robert Neal Falkinburg on August 2, 1941 in Graham. Robert preceded her in death on May 13, 1995. They moved to Brownfield in 1962. She worked many years for J.B. Knight Furniture and Fields Clothing Store in Brownfield. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mazie is also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Kay Falkinburg; 2 brothers and a sister, J.T. and Chappell Wadley and Fay Dell Wadley.

Mazie is survived by a son, Bill Falkinburg and wife Kara; 3 grandchildren, Kimber Falkinburg of Kerrville, Erica Betts of San Antonio and Ashley Stallings of Lubbock; 3 great granddaughters.
