Services for Neal Haskell Attaway, 78, of Brownfield will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Moman officiating.
Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Neal was born on September 27, 1934 to Haskell and Katherine Attaway in Sanderson, TX. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Henderson State University in Arkansas. Neal married Jo Ann Bailey on March 16, 1996 in Marble Falls. They moved to the community of Brownfield in 2002. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Neal is preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Katherine Attaway and a brother, Jimmy Lee Attaway.
Neal is survived by his wife Jo Ann Attaway of Brownfield; 2 sons, Robert Neal Attaway of Midland and Tommy Leiler Attaway and wife Cassie of Hobbs, NM; 2 grandchildren, Blake Frost and husband David of Midland and Bobby Mac Attaway of Coleman Lake; a great grandchild, Caleb Frost of Midland and a sister Mary Lee Hedgepath of Tyler.
