Nona Fae Harris

Services for Nona Harris, 90, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Brownfield First Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Moman officiating. Burial will follow at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Nona Fae Harris was born September 15, 1922 to Jim and Amy (Miller) Watson in Ranger. She graduated from Ranger High School and attended Ranger Jr. College. Nona married Roy Duane “Pete” Harris on May 17, 1944 in Brownfield. She was a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church and was a member of the Alpha Omega Study Club for many years.

Nona is survived by her husband, Roy D. “Pete” Harris of Brownfield; 2 daughters, Duanne Whitehead and husband, Bryan, of Austin, Marissa Durham and Husband Dustin of Brownfield; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and 2 sisters, Helen Jenkins of Midland, and Laverne Little of Midland.
