Services for Patricia Ellen Caviness, 77, of Brownfield will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Pat was born on September 10, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland to Albert and Mildred Ellen Wilson. She earned a Registered Nursing Degree from John Hopkins University and was a nurse for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and cooking. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mildred Wilson.
Pat is survived by her husband, Walter R. Caviness of Brownfield; 2 daughters, Ellen Collins of Brownfield and Donna Cheney of Austin; a son, Max Cheney of Dallas; 2 stepchildren, Jack Caviness of Levelland and Melissa Northcutt of Georgetown and 9 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Activities Fund at Brownfield Rehabilitation and Care Center or Legacy of Love Hospice Care.
