Paul Bryan Woods went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2016 in Hereford, Texas surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 18, 1924 in Van, Texas to Jewel Blackstock and Paul Woods, Sr. Paul left home at an early age and moved to Tahoka, Texas and then on to Lubbock, Texas to find work. He married Jackie Cabbiness March 18, 1998 and moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico where they currently reside.

Paul had a happy demeanor and took joy in playing golf (for which he held numerous records at the Brownfield Country Club), spending time with family, going to the horse races, and basically being the life of the party. He “never met a stranger” and was loved by many.

While living in Ruidoso, he and his wife Jackie attended The Race Track Church where he was baptized and then later attended J Bar J Church of Ruidoso.
