Pearl Bishop

Services for Neoma Pearl Bishop, 91, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at West Tate Church of Christ with Ernest Smith officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Pearl passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 in Brownfield. She was born December 23, 1917 in Goree, Texas to J. D. and Flora Peek Baker. She married Ford Bishop in January of 1934 in Littlefield. He preceded her in death in 1974. She moved to Brownfield that same year. Pearl is also preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister. She was a member of West Tate Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Ricky, Dickie, Michael & Mickey Robertson, Don Bishop, Cynthia Halamicek, Pam Kasberg and Tammy
Howard.

Pearl is survived by a son, Henry Bishop and his wife Dorothy of San Angelo; a daughter, Carol Robertson and her husband Don of Brownfield; 3 sisters, Alta Kirby of Littlefield, Wanda Phipps of Friona and Margaret Sauter of Union Gap, WA; a sister-in-law, Jewel Baker of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
