Services for Pearlene Daugherty, 94, of San Angelo and formerly of Brownfield will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00pm on Saturday at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Daugherty went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 3rd, in San Angelo, TX where she has resided for the past 14 years. She was born December 5, 1918 in Grand Saline to Luther and Ella Bates. She moved to Brownfield in 1956 after she married William L Daugherty. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1996. Pearlene was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was employed by the City of Brownfield until retirement in 1981.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Lynette Roberts of San Angelo; two grandchildren, Kim Putman and husband David of Lubbock and Kevin Roberts and wife JJ of Richmond; a great granddaughter, Jordan Putman and great grandson, Joshua Putman both of Lubbock.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Baptist Hospice in San Angelo.
