Graveside services for Roberta Vada Day, 78, of Meadow will be held at 10 am Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Bob Reynolds officiating and Bo Shero assisting.
Family visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Roberta was born November 24, 1936 to Robert and Ellen May Alexander in Hockley County. She graduated from high school in Sundown. Roberta married Dan Day on December 27, 1953 in Sundown. She was a loving mother, homemaker and farmer’s wife. She was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ, D.A.R. and D.R.T. Roberta is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Day and her parents.
Roberta is survived by her 4 children, Cacy Day Sr. of Seminole, Carolyn Viosca of Tyler, Dan “Buster” Day Jr. of Meadow, Ross Day of Meadow; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Beth White of Indiana and Nina Moates of Arlington.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Children's Home of Lubbock, New Mexico Christian Children's Home or to your favorite charity.
