Services for Ruby Michelle Leija, 40, of Brownfield will be 2pm, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Michelle went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2012. She was born to Elvira Cantu on January 22, 1972 in Decatur. Michelle was a special child and never met a stranger. She loved music and watching scary movies. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Vera Jimenez of Brownfield; 3 sisters, Virgie Salazar and husband Sal of Midland, Brenda Hernandez of Brownfield and Stacy Leija of Abilene; 4 nephews, Nathaniel Salazar, Gabriel, Jesse and Lewis Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Ramon Jimenez; maternal grandparents; 3 uncles.
