Sirilda Barrientez Davila

Services for Sirilda B. Davila, 87, of Brownfield will be at 10:00am, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Sirilda passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at her home in Brownfield. She was born December 9, 1922 in Runge, Texas to Matias and Maria Barrientez. Sirilda married Avelardo Davila in Karnes City on July 5, 1939. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1963. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 4 grand children, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Sirilda is survived by her children, Geneva Bustillos of Meadow, Elvira Rosales of Brownfield, Santiago Davila of Meadow, Santos Davila of Brownfield, Gloria Castilleja of Meadow, Abelardo "Jr" Davila of Meadow, Janie Jacquez of Brownfield, Maggie Longoria of Brownfield and Sylvia Gonzales of Brownfield; 38 grandchildren; many many great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Marcus, Angel and Lilo Barrientez all of Karnes City; 3 sisters, Tomasa Mendoza of Helena, Dominga Morin of Karnes City and Aurora Davila of Karnes City.
